2. Government College University Lahore
The Government College University is the second one on our list. It is one of Lahore’s oldest colleges. It first welcomed visitors in 1864. The college was elevated to the level of university in 2002. As a result, the college rose to become one of the country’s top ten largest educational institutions.
The institution has over 1200 students studying across 32 academic disciplines. In addition to the large campus and other amenities, the college offers 5 research facilities. In 2013, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) ranked the institute second in the general category.
The college has produced some of the country’s most prominent citizens, including Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Nobel laureates Har Gobind Khorana and Abdus Salam, and Ashfaq Ahmed.

6. Forman Christian College
Forman Christian College is one of the most prestigious educational institutes in Lahore. Mission College was created in 1864 by Dr. Charles William Forman, an American Presbyterian missionary. The college was recognized as a degree-granting university in 2004.
Forman Christian College was established in the 18th century. As a result, it was one of the earliest colleges in Pakistan. Since its inception, the institution has provided top-tier education to the general population. The college is spread out across 108 acres of land and has an annual enrolment of over 3000 students.
