Cars Have Become More Expensive

Pak Suzuki Motors has a 35 thousand to 10 million vehicles prices rise. Car dealers say the government should lift the ban on imported vehicles to end the monopoly of local car companies and make local vehicles cheaper.

Pak Suzuki Motors increased the price of Cultus VXR by Rs 35,000, after which Suzuki Cultus VXR became Rs 1.78 million. The Suzuki Cultus VXL went up by Rs 35,000 to Rs 19 lakh while the Suzuki Cultus AGS went up by Rs 45,000 to Rs 2,030,000.

Similarly, Suzuki New Jamni after an increase of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 44 lakh 90 thousand and Suzuki Vitara after an increase of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 65 lakh.

Prince Saleem Khan, president of the Lahore Car Dealers Federation, and other car dealers say local automakers are increasing the prices of their cars. To curb this increase, the government should immediately lift the ban on imported vehicles.

Car dealers say the government should introduce an auto policy to prevent local carmakers from raising car prices on their own.
