New tsunami of rising prices, survey of convenience markets across the province including Lahore completed, Punjab government decides to close convenience markets in phases, 31 convenience markets of the city will be closed till February 8, 21 markets of the city from January 11.
According to the 31 decided city after the completion of the opinion of the deputy commissioners of the province including Lahore and surveys convenience markets step by step to facilitate markets will be closed.
According to the government plan, five bazaars will be operational in each district from January 11 to January 24. Out of 31 bazaars in Lahore, only 10 bazaars will be operational in the first phase. Two bazaars will be operational in each district from February 7. Four convenience markets will be kept operational in the country. On February 8, all the convenience markets in the province will be completely closed, the Commerce and Industries Department has issued a notification.
Chief Secretary Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik surveyed the grocery and convenience markets for was the decision to keep operational, convenience markets closed. Not only will the exact Grocery lack competence affordable and public tariffs, but decide Grand outlets of the Government.
