A consortium of 7 banks has been formed to provide resources for the LDA City New Pakistan Apartments project.
Vice Chairman SM Imran and Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar were met by senior officials of the banks. Additional Director General Rana Tika Khan, Chief Metropolitan Planner Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi, Chief Engineer Abdul Razzaq Chauhan, Director Finance Muhammad Akhtar and other concerned Officers attended, discussed providing mortgage financing facility to the employees for the apartments, banks offered to provide 80% cost to the employees for the apartments.
The meeting decided to provide low interest rate loans to the employees on the orders of the Prime Minister. It is proposed to collect this amount from the employees in easy monthly installments.
Representatives of Habib Bank, Punjab Bank and Faisal Bank, Bank Al-Falah, UBL, Meezan Bank and National Bank also attended the meeting. Representatives of some banks from Karachi also attended the meeting through video link.
On the other hand, it was decided to give historic relief to private housing societies for the New Pakistan Housing Project, for which the Punjab government has now approved the new FATA Ordinance 2020.
According to the new ordinance, only 20 They will be able to get all kinds of discounts by giving plots. According to this new ordinance, if a low income society is to be formed, then 20% of the houses will have to be given to the New Pakistan Housing Program.
