According to the details, the Federal Board of Revenue has reminded all taxpayers to submit their annual income tax returns before December 8, 2020. The FBR has clarified that the date for filing returns will not be further extended. Taxpayers can submit annual returns with guidance through the new Wizard-based simple web interface. Statements can also be submitted via smartphone on the Tax Easy app.
The FBR has clarified that all such persons are being given one last chance to submit their tax returns on the basis of their correct expenditure and income otherwise action will be taken against them as per law. It is mandatory for anyone with an annual income of Rs 600,000 or more to file an income tax return.
