Good news for registered vehicle owners of Sindh, KP, Balochistan, now they will be able to drive with Punjab number plate, Excise Department has decided to re-register vehicles with number plates of other provinces in Punjab.
DG Excise Ch Masood-ul-Haq say a vehicle owner should pay Punjab token tax, so if acquired number from your documents will and the registration book shall submit, fee elders registration card, the excise department NOC. In order to get the C, he will send a letter to the concerned province so that after the issuance of NOC, the vehicle will be allotted Punjab number.
According to sources, the excise department has registered 3450 cars and motorcycles for universal number plates in two days. The first e-auction will be held on August 23 in which 38 attractive numbers will be put up for auction, in which Triple A series numbers will be sold.
Director Region C Rana Qamarul Hassan Sajjad said that 2200 vehicles were registered on the first day while 1250 vehicles were registered on the second day, including 2723 motorcycles, 437 cars and 249 commercial vehicles.
