Tollinton Market President Tariq Javed says it is not possible to sell meat at government rates. If matters are not resolved by Sunday, we will announce the next course of action.
Buyers say that the government has taken away the facility of cheap meat. Shopkeepers are not selling meat. Boneless chicken is getting Rs 550 per kg.
According to sources, the Poultry Association has also formulated a strategy of protest and strike if the demands are not met.
