Rana Akhtar said, ” How can any Muslim remain silent when the sanctity of the Holy Prophet is mentioned? The business community across the city should sever trade relations with France, their products should be removed from shops and markets and further purchases should be stopped.”
Other business leaders in Iqbal Town also expressed outrage at the publication of blasphemous sketches by France. The traders said that France deliberately hurts the religious sentiments of Muslims by publishing blasphemous sketches and that political, social and trade ties with the country should be boycotted forever.
