A big facility has been introduced for car and motorcycle owners on New Year. IG Punjab Inam Ghani inaugurated electronic challan online payment system. Citizens can pay electronic challan through EP mobile application from today.
The inaugural ceremony of e-challan online payment system was held at Punjab Safe Cities Authority, in which Managing Director Rao Sardar Ali Khan and Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Kamran Khan gave a briefing. On this occasion, IG Punjab Inam Ghani said that Online payments will save citizens valuable time, online payments will help maintain social distance in Corona, the best police officers deployed in the Safe Cities Authority.
He said that Safe Cities Authority is proving to be helpful in crime control and traffic management, Punjab Police is taking all possible steps for the convenience of the people, Pukar 15, e-service centers and e-challan system are the best steps for the convenience of the people. With mobile banking, branches of 28 banks and ATMs of 21 banks, citizens will be able to pay challans through EasyPay, Jazz Cash, Connect, Omni and more.
In addition, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority has tightened its grip on the growing number of accidents in the city and against those who do not abide by traffic rules, e-challans have started sending SMS to non-paying vehicle owners.
