In a move aimed at making it easier for people to get driving licences, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has said it will now give licences to everyone in Pakistan, no matter where they live. This big announcement was made at an event led by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The event marked the start of two new things: Islamabad Traffic Police Facilitation on Wheels and Islamabad Traffic Police Education on Wheels.

Driving Licences for Everyone

During the event, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that all Pakistanis can now get driving licences from Islamabad. This means that it doesn’t matter where you live, you can still get a licence. This shows that Islamabad Traffic Police wants to make sure that everyone who can drive safely gets a chance to have a licence.

Mobile Traffic Vans: Bringing Services Closer to You

The ITP is bringing three vans to different places so that people can get licences and other services more easily. These vans will be parked at places where everyone can reach them easily. This way, you can renew your licence, get a learner permit, or do other things without having to go to a fixed location.

Promoting Traffic Awareness

Apart from helping people get licences, these vans will also teach people about traffic rules. They will go to schools, colleges, and other places to tell people how to drive safely. The goal is to make sure everyone knows how to be safe on the road.

Special Services for Some Groups

The Interior Minister also said that some groups will get special help. Older people, for example, can now get their licences without leaving their homes. And soon, students will be able to get licences more easily at their schools and colleges.

Booking Appointments Made Easy

Now, if you want to get a licence from the ITP License Branch Faizabad in Islamabad, you can book an appointment online. But there are only a few appointments available each day, so it’s a good idea to book early. If you can’t book online, you can still go in person and get help on a first-come, first-served basis.

In short, Islamabad Traffic Police is making it easier for everyone to get driving licences. They’re using new ideas like Facilitation on Wheels and Education on Wheels to help people get licences and learn about traffic rules.
