JDC Opens Free IT City in Lahore, Providing Free Modern IT Courses

JDC Free Courses in IT City Lahore

A variety of contemporary IT courses, including those on Amazon, Graphics, CorelDRAW, and Walmart, will be made available for free at The Free IT City. These two- to three-month programs will result in merit-based certificates, ushering in a new era in Punjab’s educational system.

Aim of the project

This project, which aims to equip Punjab’s young and students with critical IT skills, is in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s agenda. The APS School’s Free IT City is the first of a planned network of IT Cities that will spring up all throughout Punjab.

Rana Sikandar Hayat Declared the significance of IT

In the modern period, Rana Sikandar Hayat emphasized the significance of IT competence, saying that a country’s ability to advance depends on its technological and IT know-how. He underlined that these abilities would help Punjab’s young become more self-reliant.

Eliminating Financial Barriers to Education

The minister emphasized that financial barriers to education would be eliminated by making the formerly expensive IT courses available to everyone. In his vision, the Free IT City would be a cutting-edge establishment with annual admission goals, dedicated to providing Punjab’s youth with cutting-edge skills to tackle issues like unemployment.

Rana Sikandar Hayat praised the JDC Foundation for helping to construct the IT City and reiterated the government’s support for the project. Prominent individuals attended the opening ceremony, including JDC General Secretary Zafar Abbas and Provincial Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir.
