PIAF Founder Alliance once again made a clean sweep in the election of Associate Class of Lahore Chamber, PIAF Founder Alliance won the field by getting 2,477 panel votes, celebration of PIAF leaders and supporters.
In the biggest election battle of the city’s business community, the Lahore Chamber Associate class election broke all previous records of voting turnout, the turnout in the current election was 44%, 550 more votes in this election than last year. Cast, 4750 out of 10760 voters exercised their franchise.
PIAF Founder Alliance polled 2,477 panel votes for the 18th consecutive year. Election Commission members Sohail Lashari, Haroon Shafiq and Shahid Hassan Sheikh announced the results. According to the results, Nasir Hameed Khan was the first to get 3,299 votes. Saleem Asghar Bhatti came second with 3,236 votes and Maqbool Siddique came third with 3,220 votes.
Similarly, Shahid Nazir came fourth with 3,187 votes, while Imran Kashif Bashir came fifth with 3,151 votes, Muhammad Ali Afzal 3,085 and Naeem Hanif 3,056 votes, while the loser Lahore Business Front won the 999 panel. Amjad Chaudhry got 1693 votes, Mian Javed Ali 1432, Ali Raza 1349, Zain Elahi 1339, Nabil Mahmood 1229, Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid 1211, Muhammad Wasim Abbas 1185 and Sajid Aziz 1195 votes.
After the election results were announced, supporters of the PIAF Founder Alliance celebrated and chanted slogans in favor of the candidates.
