LWMC Gets Ready to Remove Offal for Eid-ul-Azha

To remove offal during Eid-ul-Azha, the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is making considerable preparations.

To attain zero-waste status, a thorough cleaning operation involving heavy machinery is in progress across multiple areas. To clear trash from open plots, parks, and public areas, workers and machines have been dispatched to Allama Iqbal Town and Samanabad Town.

Babar Sahib Din, CEO of LWMC, stressed the company’s dedication to offering first-rate cleaning services during Eid, upholding their reputation for prompt and superior service delivery.

Eid-ul-Adha and Waste Management

In Pakistan, Eid-ul-Adha is a significant religious and cultural event celebrated with animal sacrifices and meat distributions to the underprivileged. But this custom also produces a lot of garbage, such as packaging materials and animal carcasses, which can be problematic for the city’s waste management system.

Karachi Mayor’s Assurance

The citizens of Karachi have been reassured by the mayor that the local government is proactively addressing these issues. To make sure that the city is kept tidy and maintained for the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations, he has promised to mobilize more staff and resources.

Conclusion

To enhance traffic flow, the LDA has approved the reconstruction of the Thokar Niaz Baig Interchange. In the meantime, LWMC is getting ready for the city’s impending Eid-ul-Adha celebrations, which will involve effective rubbish clearance.
