The price of LPG has gone up by Rs 10 across the country. The LPG Association has demanded the government take notice of the artificial shortage.
LPG now will be sold at Rs 210 per kg instead of Rs 200 per kg. According to the LPG Industry Association, the price of a domestic cylinder will go up by Rs 120 to Rs 2,475 while a commercial LPG cylinder will go up by Rs 455 to Rs 9,532.
On the other hand, Chairman of LPG Association Irfan Khokar said that the price of LPG in the international market is declining but it is increasing in Pakistan. The government should take immediate notice of the artificial shortage in the market.
