Two companies participated in the tender for the contract. It was decided to award the contract to the lowest bidding company. The government will pay the company Rs 25.3 million annually to run the ticketing system.
The contract for automated fair collection at metro stations will be awarded for 3 years. The company will also be responsible for maintaining order in the bus schedule system.
