The Punjab Police has introduced electronic driving licensing for the first time in Pakistan, according to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar in a special message on the license. Dr. Usman Anwar added that citizens can download and save the electronic driver’s license in PDF format to their mobile devices.
The printable PDF driving license can be used when traveling. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the e-driving license had the capability to scan QR codes. The e-driving license function offers a detailed description of the color photo, address, and license with which the traffic police can validate your license.
Dr. Usman Anwar, the IGP for Punjab, stated that more than 3 million people had received driving licenses from the Punjab Police this year. There are now more than 200 license centers spread out over the province, up from 45 previously.
