PM Imran Guides Banks To Make Available Loans Easier For The Poor

The Premier demanded that the loan approval process be open and speed up via Online Portals.

Governor Reza Baqir of the State Bank of Pakistan briefed the meeting on simple instalments for loans to the needy and the middle class. The Heads have updated the PM on loans under the Naya Pakistan Housing scheme, Allied Bank, Meezan Bank, Bank Al Habib, Habib Bank, and Bank of Punjab.

The meeting was told of the simplification of the mechanism for the acquisition of loans and the creation of separate offices in bank branches. Private banks were also told about loans being provided by Islamic as well as conventional banks soon.

The heads of banking guaranteed the government that they will support the housing sector and make it easier to develop houses for the deprived segments of society.

Imran Khan said the Pakistan Citizen Platform has really motivated the citizen and encouraged all people to make successful use of the Pakistan Prime Minister Delivery Unit.
