Islamabad Center Added for Balochistan Candidates
According to the public notice issued on June 29, 2026, Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, Quetta, will establish the additional examination center in Islamabad for MDCAT 2026 candidates from Balochistan.
The decision is specifically linked to candidates holding Balochistan domicile. It is designed to facilitate students who are preparing for admission to medical and dental colleges and may find Islamabad a more practical examination location than other available options.
| Student Benefit: The additional Islamabad center can reduce travel pressure for eligible Balochistan candidates and make exam logistics easier to manage. |
What PM&DC Has Asked Candidates to Do
PM&DC has advised interested candidates from Balochistan to visit the official council website and complete MDCAT 2026 registration through the online portal according to the announced procedure. Candidates should use the official registration system and avoid relying on informal links or unverified instructions.
The notice follows an earlier public announcement issued on June 19. The new Islamabad center expands the available arrangements for eligible candidates, but students still need to complete registration correctly and select options in line with official instructions.
| Item | Detail | Why It Matters |

| New center | Islamabad | Additional location for eligible candidates |
| Eligible group | Balochistan domicile holders | Targets students from Balochistan |

Why the New Center Matters
MDCAT is a high-stakes entrance test for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges. For candidates from distant regions, test-center access can affect travel cost, planning, stress and overall readiness. An additional Islamabad option can make the process more manageable for some Balochistan students.
The step also reflects a broader need for examination systems to consider regional access. When students have clearer and more practical center options, they can focus more on preparation and less on transport and accommodation problems.
| Access Point: Better center availability can help candidates plan travel, documents and arrival time more confidently before the test day. |
Candidates Should Verify Details Before Registering
Students should confirm the latest instructions directly from PM&DC before finalizing their registration. They should check domicile requirements, center selection rules, fee payment steps, document requirements and any later updates issued by the council.
The new center is expected to streamline the examination process for aspiring medical students from Balochistan, but applicants should not wait until the last moment to register or correct information in the portal.
For families, the most practical next step is to review the official notice, prepare required documents and complete the online process carefully. Since test-center allocation is tied to eligibility, candidates should make sure their domicile information is accurate.
| Caution: Candidates should avoid unofficial registration pages and confirm all MDCAT center details from PM&DC’s official website before payment or submission. |
| Bottom Line: PM&DC’s Islamabad center gives Balochistan candidates another MDCAT 2026 option, but timely official registration remains essential. |
