In addition, projects worth Rs 136 billion are being approved. The government has extended the fixed tax regime for the construction sector by one year.
Leaders of the Lahore Chamber and the business community associated with the construction industry welcomed the expansion of the relief package. The chamber officials said that this would boost 40 more industries related to the construction industry and increase the employment rate.
