Construction of the relief package an extension to the Prime Minister Imran Khan has fulfilled a long-standing demand of the business community, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and the construction industry businessmen associated with the construction of the relief package to extend a year.

The Prime Minister said that under the concessions given in the construction sector, projects worth Rs 186 billion have been registered on the FBR portal while projects worth Rs 116 billion in the form of drafts have been registered. In addition, projects worth Rs 136 billion are being approved. The government has extended the fixed tax regime for the construction sector by one year.
Leaders of the Lahore Chamber and the business community associated with the construction industry welcomed the expansion of the relief package. The chamber officials said that this would boost 40 more industries related to the construction industry and increase the employment rate.
