A big gift was given by the Prime Minister to the people who were crushed in the mill of poverty even before Ramadan. Minister Khan utility stores on food and Rs 30 per kilogram increase in prices of approval sister.

Relief at the utility stores for the middle class and those living below the poverty line remained nominal. Prime Minister Imran Khan has already approved an increase of Rs 30 per kg in ghee prices before Ramadan and this approval has come as a slap in the face to the poor. Citizens hoping for relief were shaken by the rise in ghee prices.

Similarly, female consumers have also expressed concerns over the rise in ghee prices. The women said that the middle class was already feeding their children by cutting their stomachs and the government was sprinkling salt on their wounds by raising prices instead of providing relief.

On the other hand, Central Secretary General of Anjuman-e-Tajiran Naeem Mir visited the largest furniture market in the city. President Riaz met with Mughal and other business personalities. During a visit to the furniture market, Naeem Mir said that China has already wiped out many sectors of the cottage industry. He further said that imported furniture will rule everywhere which is not a good omen for the national economy.
