Similarly, female consumers have also expressed concerns over the rise in ghee prices. The women said that the middle class was already feeding their children by cutting their stomachs and the government was sprinkling salt on their wounds by raising prices instead of providing relief.
On the other hand, Central Secretary General of Anjuman-e-Tajiran Naeem Mir visited the largest furniture market in the city. President Riaz met with Mughal and other business personalities. During a visit to the furniture market, Naeem Mir said that China has already wiped out many sectors of the cottage industry. He further said that imported furniture will rule everywhere which is not a good omen for the national economy.
