Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Launches Internet Satellites in Schools

To bridge the digital divide, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated its satellite internet initiative in schools on Friday. Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, launched the pilot project at DPS Model Town. A delegation led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum was also involved in this initiative, and their main goal was to ensure and improve digital access to the Internet at educational institutions. Enhancing Learning Through Digital Technologies:

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, interacted with students at the DPS Digital Lab, highlighting the government’s dedication to enhancing learning opportunities through digital integration. A delegation from the UAE, headed by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum, was also present when the Memorandum was signed. By launching these internet satellites, CM. Maryam Nawaz highlights the government’s huge responsibility. In this digital age, the student will benefit from this digital initiative by CM and learn faster.

Enhancement Of Digital Facilities in Rural Areas

By bridging the digital divide, the MoU intends to bring satellite internet to thousands of schools throughout Punjab. This partnership demonstrates a cooperative effort to employ technology for development.  The UAE team underlined the value of satellite internet during the two sides’ discussions as a means of increasing digital access, particularly in rural areas.
