Punjab Government Announces Tax Relief To Marriage Hall Owners

The Punjab government has announced to provide tax relief in economic difficulties due to closure of marriage halls from Corona. Aslam Iqbal   has said that 6 months concession will be given in payment of license fee.

A delegation of Punjab Marriage Halls and Caterers Association called on Mian Aslam Qabal, Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce. The delegation was led by Chief Patron Mian Muhammad Ilyas. SOPs of Marriage Halls and other issues were discussed during the meeting. The Halls delegation called for consultation with stakeholders regarding SOPs of Marriage Halls.

It was decided at the meeting that the marriage hall would be closed at 10 pm and the management of the marriage hall would ensure the use of sanitizers, medical check-up of the service providers would be mandatory and the staff would also wear masks, Aslam Iqbal told the delegation. He said that all the problems faced by the marriage halls and catering business would be resolved.
