Eight days have passed since the operation of the Orange Line Metro train project. The project is being well received by Zinda Dalan Lahore. The number of passengers on the Orange Train continues to increase gradually.
The Mass Transit Authority released a report on the number of passengers, revenue and fines in 8 days. According to the report, 585,571 passengers traveled in the metro train from October 26 to November 2. On Sunday, November 1, 122,183 passengers traveled in the Orange Train.
On Friday, October 30, 114,194 passengers boarded the train. On Thursday, October 31, 79260 traveled in the Metro train. 49824 passengers traveled on October 26, 55738 on October 27 and 53390 on October 28. On November 2, 55,891 passengers boarded the train.
The Mass Transit Authority received revenue of Rs. 2,34,22,840 in eight days.
Those who stayed at the train station for more than 90 minutes got revenue of Rs. 697,040 from the fines imposed. The Orange Train project has the capacity to accommodate 2.5 million passengers a day.
