According to details, Excise Minister Hafiz Mumtaz said that 40 percent of vehicles are being registered in Lahore and 60 percent in other districts across the province. He said that 40,000 vehicles have been registered under the online appointment system.
Hafiz Mumtaz further said that the number plate contract has been prepared, it will be issued by the end of July, the issue of delay in the smart card will also be resolved soon while 5% discount will be given on online token tax payment. Director Rana Qamarul Hassan gave a briefing. He further said that citizens should be part of the online system to eradicate corruption.
