Chairman Punjab Flour Mills Association Asim Raza expressed concern over the flour crisis after December. It is said that the government should take decisions keeping in view the ground realities. Offices will be stoned due to incompetence of officers. The government is not responsible for the crisis.

Asim Raza said that giving wheat to feed mills last year created a gap of 900,000 tonnes. The country had 28 million tonnes of wheat, but a crisis ensued. When there was a deficit of wheat in the open market, the situation became uncontrollable. Balochistan was not even given wheat last year, all these cases prove the incompetence of the government.

Chairman Punjab Flour Mills Association Asim Raza said that this time when the commencement started, the bureaucracy and the Punjab government decided to meet their target. The rate that was supposed to be in December was changed to June.
