Special cattle markets have been set up in different parts of Lahore on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
The business trend in the cattle market is slightly lower than last year, while both traders and buyers are worried about the slow and sick animals being brought to the market due to inflation.
Due to high taxes and inflation, the small animal could not be brought to the market, but the claims of the cattle market officials for the provision of facilities and measures to prevent diseases remain.
This year, traders are demanding Rs 45,000 to Rs 90,000 for goats, Rs 30,000 to Rs 75,000 for goats, Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh for cows and Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh for oxen.
