The World Bank of $ 20 million for the Pakistan Fish farming loans to greenlight two major projects, forest and aquatic life, the World Bank will be launched in collaboration with.
According to sources, out of the loan received from the World Bank, the Punjab government will be given a share of Rs 9.5 billion for the improvement of the fisheries sector and the launch of new projects. The remaining funds from the World Bank will be spent on aquatic life improvement projects in different provinces.
The Department of Forestry and Aquatic Life’s two major projects, which were to be included in the first annual development budget, will now be completed in collaboration with the World Bank. The Prawn Farming Cluster Development Pilot Project and Cage Fish Culture Cluster Development Project will be launched in collaboration with the World Bank.
