City 42: Pakistan Stock Exchange weekly report released, 100 Index decreased by 1089 points in one week.
According to the report, the 100 Index closed at 41,050, down 2.60% in one week. In one week, investors lost Rs 140 billion due to a fall in share price. Market capitalization fell from Rs 7002 billion to Rs 6862 billion. 1.50 billion shares worth Rs 45.71 billion were traded.
In one week, foreign corporates sold. 52.60 million worth of shares. In addition, the insurance sector sold. 52.40 million worth of shares. Various companies sold 15 15.6 million worth of shares, while individual investors Bought 57 5.7 million worth of shares. Mutual funds bought ڈالر 32.6 million worth of shares, while banks bought .4 12.4 million worth of shares.
It may be recalled that investors were active on the news of the resumption of the IMF program during the week. The stock market improved during the week which turned into a sharp decline on the last day. There was a sharp decline of 2,000 points after the announcement.
